National Memberships
API represents all segments of America’s oil and natural gas industry. Its more than 600 members produce, process, and distribute most of the nation’s energy. The industry supports millions of U.S. jobs and is backed by a growing grassroots movement of millions of Americans. API was formed in 1919 as a standards-setting organization. In its first 100 years, API has developed more than 700 standards to enhance operational and environmental safety, efficiency and sustainability.
The Energy Infrastructure Council is a trade association dedicated to advancing the interests of traditional and renewable companies that develop and operate energy infrastructure. EIC addresses core public policy issues critical to investment in America’s energy infrastructure.
The Environmental Partnership is comprised of companies in the U.S. oil and natural gas industry committed to continuously improve the industry’s environmental performance.
Kinetik is a member of the GPA Midstream Association, a non-profit trade organization that has served the needs of its member companies in the development and maintenance of industry standards, the generation and dissemination of technical knowledge, monitoring and action on related legislative and regulatory issues, and providing a forum for the interchange of technology and developments.
The Oilfield Water Stewardship Council (OWSC) is a community of companies working together to advance water stewardship in the oil and gas industry. The OWSC’s first goal is to produce an industry-endorsed set of material metrics and definitions for more comprehensive, quantitative, and relevant analysis of water management in the oil and gas industry.
Established by B3 Insight in response to diverse stakeholder interests, the OWSC promotes industry collaboration and knowledge sharing. Members serve as key contributors to the development of systems to define, collect, validate, and report data in a manner that aligns with predominant sustainability frameworks in use today.
ONE Future is a coalition of over 50 natural gas companies working to voluntarily reduce methane emissions across the natural gas value chain. Through shared best practices and groundbreaking technologies, the coalition’s member compaines are driving down emissions and advancing the innovation and cutting-edge technologies needed to progress a net zero future, all while delivering the affordable, reliable, and secure energy the U.S. and world needs.
State/Local Memberships
The Texas Pipeline Association, provides advocacy on issues related to pipeline safety, environmental regulations, taxation and legislation. Member companies commit to conducting their business with integrity, honest communication, fair right-of-way acquisition, respectful construction and safe operations.
The New Mexico Oil & Gas Association is a coalition of oil and natural gas companies, individuals, and stakeholders dedicated to promoting the safe and environmentally responsible development of oil and natural gas resources in New Mexico. NMOGA works with elected officials, community leaders, industry experts, and the general public to advocate for responsible oil and natual gas policies and increase public understanding of industry operations and contributions to the state.
The Permian Basin Road Safety Coalition is supported by a broad cross-section of stakeholders invested in improving road safety across the Permian Basin. The PRCS collaborates on data-driven research and educates the broader community on shared responsibiltiy of road safety.
Kinetik is an active Permian Strategic Partnership Board member and supports its mission of developing initiatives that strengthen local communities and improve the quality of life in the Permian Basin. The coalition of leading Permian Basin energy companies works in partnership with leaders across the region’s communities to implement targeted solutions to the region’s most critical needs, including public education, infrastructure, and healthcare.
NGSPB exists to connect and professionally develop members through educational, legislative, social, and technical events. Founded in 1924, the Midland Chamber of Commerce is a membership-based organization that exists to enhance the robust business climate of Midland, Texas, and surrounding areas.
